I'll take some photo's for you, these are different. Yes, they appear to wrap around the fenders and the mounting hole locations seem to also be different, maybe a 1/2". The BS is getting pretty deep!!! 😆 No Pantera was made with a wide license plate opening until the GT5. In the early 1970s Euro countries used plates that were narrower than US plates and all the bodies were the same. I’ve only ever seen two styles of square inner corner rear bumpers. That’s not to say there couldn’t be more though. They all sit the same on the inside edge. The only difference his how far they wrap around the outer edge of the body. Mike Sent from my iPad

I think I have discovered that there are at least 3 styles, and maybe more to accommodate the wider European rear License plate features as more tooling was introduced. The earliest were completely hand fabricated and were further outboard to accommodate the wider European license plate, then they widened them for the US rear panel when tooling was built to form the outer round that curved more to wrap more around the fender corners, then the more common 71 square inners with a more flattened fender outer curve that mounted slightly more inboard. Then came the tooling for the rounded inner feature that was found on the early 72 Pantera's Larry Stock

Ken,
It’s true there are two different styles of square inner corner 1971 bumpers. I believe the very early cars were about an inch shorter on the outer end.

Is it correct that very early 71s have rear chrome bumpers with squared off ends close to the license plate, and late rounded ends about a inch shorter?
