Just dunk a rusty part in it and let it soak for a few hours, the rust gets gone with no scrubbing or sanding. Just rinse off with water. Costs $27 a gallon so I figured, what the hell? I grabbed a gallon and when I got home I treated an old rotor. Sure enough, it works like a champ! I have a sender in the threaded hole next to the fuel pump. That's the main oil feed from the filter boss to the engine. Without an oil cooler I typically saw oil temps around 10 C above water on the highway. Never got more than 20 C above water when driving on the track either. Open road racing would be much harder on the oil temp but I haven't tried that. With the popular Ford water/oil unit I see water temp pretty much all the time on the oil temp gauge. That's the main oil feed from the filter boss to the engine. Without an oil cooler I typically saw oil temps around 10 C above water on the highway. Never got more than 20 C above water when driving on the track either. Open road racing would be much harder on the oil temp but I haven't tried that. With the popular Ford water/oil unit I see water temp pretty much all the time on the oil temp gauge. The Veglia gauge is so-so accurate, keep that in mind.
