
Rich, Look closely. Later Panteras have TWO identical rheostats, one for the minor gauges on that panel and one to the left of the steering column on the underside of the dash for the tach and speedo. If your car has the pre-L dash it won’t have the second one. Cheers! Mike Sent from my iPhone

Then left of the steering column there is another orange wire and yellow/black wire that says to 'instrument illumination regulator".
