Steve Lisa finished first place in Vintage AP with a best lap time of 2:38.209. His Pantera (05533) built to mimic Group 3 period specs was tweaked several times in practice sessions over two days. Steve’s strategy to get best times in qualifying worked out well. I had to leave prior to the last race but Steve updated me by text just a while ago. Kudos to Steve, his team of crack specialists wrenching on the car, and to the endurance of Pantera 05533. Also at Road America was Ron McCall with his heavily modified and race prepared Pantera. Both cars had a lot of fun and got a -lot- of attention in the paddock, parade, and car show.
