Just measure the thread size of the old switch, I find it unlikely that
it's unique to the Pantera.

The shuttle valve looks very similar to late 1960:s early 1970:s Volvo.
However they did not have a hydraulic switch.
Many European cars of the era had switches that look very similar.
Earlier single circuit Volvos, VW, Saab could be potential donors.
What about:

The shuttle valve looks very similar to late 1960:s early 1970:s Volvo.
However they did not have a hydraulic switch.
Many European cars of the era had switches that look very similar.
Earlier single circuit Volvos, VW, Saab could be potential donors.
What about:

Hi guys,
A very sorted and likely heavily modified Mangusta with a very successful
club race history is now for sale in Sweden, 8MA950. Here are a couple of
short videos. That motor sounds pretty nasty!

If you ever wanted a Mangusta that ran and drove like a Pantera (that is to
say, much better), this might be it!
Let me know if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with the seller.
He doesn't want a bunch of tire-kickers, serious buyers only. I don't
know the asking price?

Pretty much correct yes, and I would expect this kind of thing might die down soon.
Although this email forum is not controlled by POCA, there are some members who frequent it. Some of those members are long standing contributing people who have been in POCA and a Pantera owner for decades. Some of them have even been past Board members. And unfortunately some of them are not being made to feel as welcome in the club they helped build anymore.
Because of this, they are expressing frustration at what appears to be maligning statements directed at them (and at others about them) for barely comprehensible reasons. Since those kinds of communications and forum postings are banned within POCA, these individuals are expressing their confusion and disappointment by highlighting here, the trouble being experienced there.
Unfortunately this email forum is their only other outlet to reach others and try to highlight what they (and potentially others) may feel are injustices being served upon them and others. Most of the time they don't need a response as many cases are just venting frustrations; people can make their own judgements and remain silent, or respond privately (with the full understanding that what you say in private may not necessarily remain private).
As I said earlier though, I think its about ready to die down and the list should get back to normalcy.

Aloha Ed,
It sounds like your painter didn't add a plasticizer (which gives the paint
a bit of flexibility when it's cured) to the paint before spraying the
bumper. You'll have to follow the same steps body shops use to prepare new
bumper covers on late model cars. In your case, strip the bumper down, prime
it, then paint it with the plasticized paint.
Ron Haglan in Kihei painted my bumper (along with the rest of the car
10-years ago) and I've never had it bump, crack or wave. As he was Mike
Mayberry's painter back in the '70s, he has a lot or experience painting
Panteras, and L bumpers. You might consider shipping your bumper to him
(DHX and Aloha Ai r Cargo are really affordable) to have it refinished. If
you want to go that route, I'd be happy to assist in the logistics.
Mahalo,
Scott
